Tour Leader March 10 - 24, 2010 / Length: 14 days Linda Lee Thomas is returning to Buenos Aires in March 2009 for a two week insider’s tour of the popular sights, sounds and “milongas” (tango haunts) of this famous city. Linda Lee absolutely loves Buenos Aires, and wants to share her passion of tango, the people and musicians on her third escorted group tour. Visit the local neighbourhoods – La Boca, its famous street, “Caminito” where tango dancers assemble; Palermo, one of the biggest and prettiest districts of the city; Recoleta, famous for its cemetery and San Telmo, one of the oldest districts in the city housing artists and craftsmen. Evenings are full with Tango dinner and dance; visit the local night clubs and dance the night away! Venture out of the city to “Estancia El Ombu” and the ranch country. Spend the day horse back riding or cool off in the pool. Enjoy a delicious “asado” (barbecue) served with fine Argentine wines. An optional tour is available for any nature lovers to escape the big city for 3 days/2 nights to tour and view the famous Iguazú Falls.
